Cycle-Syncing

The world operates on man's clock, but women's clocks are much deeper, wiser, more intuitive, and smarter.

An honest intro to cycle syncing for women who are tired of pushing through everything

Some weeks I feel unstoppable — like I could organize the house, launch a new offer, and host a damn dinner party… all in the same day.

And then other weeks?

I question everything. I cancel plans. I cry in the car. I don’t feel like myself — and I wonder if I’m just making excuses.

For a long time, I thought I needed more discipline. A better morning routine. Less resistance.

But what I actually needed… was alignment.

What is Cycle Syncing?

Cycle syncing is the practice of living in sync with the four phases of your menstrual cycle — shifting your workouts, work, food, rest, and expectations to match your hormonal landscape.

It’s not about doing less.
It’s about doing what makes sense for you, right now.

Your body already runs on a rhythm — we’ve just been taught to ignore it.

The Four Phases (And Why You Feel So Different Week to Week)

Here’s a super quick breakdown of the cycle phases and how they tend to feel — whether you’re running a business, working a job, or just trying to not burn out every third Thursday.

Menstrual (Inner Winter)
This is your bleed — and your body is asking you to slow down, check in, and let go of what’s not working.
Good for: journaling, gentle movement, saying no without guilt.

Follicular (Inner Spring)
Energy is building, estrogen is rising. You’re likely feeling more clear, curious, and ready to start fresh.
Good for: brainstorming, planning, trying new things.

Ovulatory (Inner Summer)
You’re magnetic here — communication, connection, and confidence often peak.
Good for: showing up big, pitching, collaborating, social events.

Luteal (Inner Fall)
Your energy turns inward. You crave structure, completion, and maybe… snacks and space.
Good for: finishing things, setting boundaries, getting organized, nesting.

You’re Not Flaky. You’re Luteal.

The world was built for a 24-hour energy cycle (thanks, testosterone). But us women operate on a roughly 28-day rhythm.

That’s why “consistency” can feel like a cruel joke.

You don’t need to push through.
You don’t need to be the same every day to be powerful.
You just need to know where you are in your cycle — and start honoring it.

Start Here: Notice

This isn’t about doing everything “right.”
It’s about getting honest with your body — and trusting that she has wisdom you’ve been taught to ignore.

Here’s what I recommend:

  • Track your cycle. Even just the start and end dates.

  • Notice the patterns. Where do you thrive? Where do you crash?

That’s all for now. No overhauls. Just awareness.
Because awareness creates choice.

Final Thoughts (From My Inner Summer Self)

You don’t need fixing.
You’re not lazy, dramatic, inconsistent, or too much.

You’re just living in a world that doesn’t always make space for the way your body works.

But you can create that space.
You can work with your cycle, not against it.
And you can lead yourself from a place of power — no matter what phase you’re in.

This is where it starts. ✨
